Her menagerie of animals consists of three dogs (Diesel, Rooper, and Rocket), two cats (Nos and Stewart) and a horse (Sox). Apart from the obvious love of hanging out with her animal companions, she also loves a bit of crochet, and fishing! She’s been a Fundy Vets family member for 3 years. Given the choice, she’d love to be an alpaca for a day. She says, “They have soft hair, long legs, and are super sweet!” In the pie vs. cake debate, she’s a pie-all-the-way kind of gal, and she doesn’t play favourites! A cool fun fact about Melissa is that she is also the co-owner of Bára Whitewater Rafting - a tidal bore rafting company out of Shubendacadie.
