Dr. Petra Phillips

From: Shubenacadie.
Position: Veterinarian.
Studied at: the Nova Scotia Agricultural College (now the Dalhousie Agricultural College), and the Atlantic Veterinary College.

Petra has four wonderful fuzzy friends - Oscar and Joey her Cats, Thunder, A Shepherd mix; and Oakley, A German Short-Haired Pointer. Her downtime is spent walking her dogs, sprucing up her flower beds, or baking some delicious gluten-free treats. When at Fundy Vets, she finds it most rewarding to talk to the clients, helping them to understand the state of their pets’ health. Petra has been at Fundy Vets for 20 years! But give her a warm climate, a safe tree, and lots to eat, and she’ll happily be a koala bear! Her favourite treat is a hearty gluten-free cheesecake. Fun fact: she has cycled up and down Keppoch mountain!
