Feed the Love Food Bank Fundraiser
We live in interesting times. We’ve had to adapt to new pressures and change our daily routines to fit a new COVID society. Food prices have increased by 5% in the last year alone.
Many of our neighbours are having to rely on local food banks to help feed their families. Fundy Vets wants to make sure that our local food banks are as stocked as they can be so no one has to worry about where their next meal will come from.
Every Dollar Matched up to $10,000!
From Feb 1st to Feb 14th, Fundy Vets will be collecting monetary donations for food banks across Central and Northern NS (see our list below for locations). Each and every dollar donated through our collection will be MATCHED by Fundy Vets – doubling each donation up to $10,000!
Online donations of $20 or more are eligible for a tax receipt.

EMAIL: E-transfer donations can be sent to [email protected]. Please include a memo with “Feed the Love” or “Food Bank Donation”.
The Pet Connection
Anyone with a pet will know how valuable human-animal relationships are. When you’re stressed, what’s better than a kiss from your dog, a nuzzle from your horse, or a purring cat upon your lap? Animals help us through these tough times, and Fundy Vets wants to make sure they’re taken care of too!
Our supply partners are being asked to contribute physical pet food donations that we can distribute to food banks across our communities. That way those in need don’t have to worry about their animal companions eating well.

FAQ
Will I get a tax receipt for my donation?
Yes. Online donations over $20 will receive a tax receipt from the food bank in your local area. Your mailing address is collected for tax-receipt purposes. Please be patient with the distribution of these receipts, as it may take time to register each individual donation.
Can I donate canned and dry goods instead?
Yes, of course! Refer to the list of food banks above for drop-off hours, or contact them directly to get a list of their needed goods. Please note that Fundy Vets will be unable to match any physical food donations, but your contribution is much appreciated.
Can I donate with cash at my next appointment?
Sadly, we are not accepting cash donations at this time due to COVID policies. We can accept online donations, e-transfers, and phone-in donations.
